Abstract

This study is aimed to determine the effect of capital structure, which is measured by long-term debt to equity ratio and profitability, which is measured by the return on assets againts company value in food and beverage fields. Furthermore, they also have been listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The method used in quantitive approach.

The technique is done by purposive sampling and it involved eight-predeterminedcriteria of food and beverage companies. Moreover, the multiple linear regression analysis is applied as the problem solving in this research.

Finally, based on the testing of the hypothesis “Test F” (either together or simultaneously) and “Test T” (patically) capital structure (LDER) and profitability (ROA) shows that they have a positive and significant effect againts the company value
