Journal of Accounting Issues is the premier journal for publishing articles reporting the results of accounting research and explaining and illustrating related research methodology. It publishes two issues per year in June and December

 

Peer Review Process

To generate a reputable publication, all articles received by the publisher secretariat will serve the following processes:

  1. Editorial team will review compliance with the writing guidelines.
  2. Feature articles vary in length from 3,000 to 6,000 words. 
  3. The number of references: minimum 50 references and 70% originated by the last 7 years publication. Of the minimum references amount, 70% come from primary sources, namely articles published in scientific journals/magazines. For historical study materials, classic literature published more than 7 years can be used.
  4. The plagiarism check will be undertaken using Turnitin. The maximum similarity check result is 15%.
  5. All articles are subject to blind peer review by expert referees selected from the Editorial Board, Advisory Board, or specialists in a particular field of study, prior to acceptance for publication.
  6. Most submissions receive an initial editorial decision within 4 weeks until 16 weeks from the date of the submission.
  7. An article must be reviewed no later than one month from the time the manuscript is delivered by the editorial team.
